hELFERS pHOTOGRAPHY

Dillon is a photographer based in the heart of the Bayou - Lafayette, Louisiana. He learned the fundamentals using film cameras and developing in darkrooms in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. He seeks to capture places and moments that may otherwise be overlooked to highlight the beauty that surrounds us. 

Photography is an art form, and we strive to create images that are not only beautiful but also unique and thought-provoking. Although technology has radically reshaped photography in recent years, our goal is to capture and present places as they are. That means waiting for the right moment to capture an image and leveraging software tools in ways consistent with traditional photo editing techniques.

At Helfers Photography, we sell limited release prints in a variety of sizes, mats, and papers to suit your specific need. Depending on how the image was captured, this means that certain images can only be printed in select sizes; however, most can be made available using museum quality paper and glass. This means your images will not fade over time and can be made suitable for challenging environments like sunny entryways where UV and glare can both damage your art and make it hard to see.
